A 22-day seminar, founded in 1984 by Vladka Meed, will include educational activities in 4 countries. Some of the Holocaust-related places to be visited are Yad Vashem in Jerusalem, Israel; Berlin and the Bergen Belsen Memorial in Germany; Warsaw, Majdanek, Lublin, Samosc, Belzec, Krakow, Auschwitz, Lodz and Treblinka in Poland; the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC

Getting Ready for my trip
One week to go - I've communicated with my roommate Debi Natoli from New Jersey. She's getting to DC on July 4th also and we hope to join up with others from our group to hear the concert and see the fireworks on the Capital Mall.
Nu? I saw , from the western shore of Bailey Island, fireworks in Portland, Freeport, Harpswell, Brunswick, and Lewiston! Incredible!! Did you catch the show in DC?
Hi Linda, You would not believe the heat today. It is HOT! Working on laptop doesn't help either! We will take a long ride today to help beat the heat. Glad you got to view the fireworks!
