Left Providence and flew to Martha’s Vineyard on a little puddle jumper. Great view. Then headed to DC The hotel, the L’Enfant Plaza, is just two blocks from the Capital Mall, so I quickly checked in and headed down to all the the excitement. It was a sea of people from the Capital to the Jefferson Memorial. Music and good food along the way. Finally met up with my roommate and a few other participants and we watched the fireworks over the Washington Monument - beautiful.
